The lying cattle is made of a piece of black jade with the technique of round carving. This jade cattle represents the superb skill of the round carving in the Han Dynasty. The craftsmen grasped the dynamic characteristics of the lying cattle, expressed the movements of the limbs with smooth and concise lines, and moved in the stillness.
