The Yaozhou kiln was first burned in the Tang Dynasty. At that time, black, white, blue, and yellow variegated porcelains were mostly fired. By the end of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties, under the influence of southern Yuezhou celadon, it was transformed into burning celadon. To the Northern Song Dynasty, Yaozhou kiln porcelain has become the crown of the northern celadon, and the decoration techniques such as glazing and carving are unique in the Song Dynasty.
