Unearthed from Jiangzhai Site, Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province in 1972

The ink stone has a length of 14.5 cm, a width of 12.8 cm, and a thickness of 4 cm. The pottery cup has a height of 12 cm and a caliber of 14.8 cm.

This is the earliest complete set of painting tools ever found, including an ink stone, a grinding stick, pigments, a stone cover and a pottery cup.
