White Porcelain Jar with Two Dragon Handles

Tang Dynasty

Height: 51.5cm   Caliber: 10cm

Collected by Shaanxi Provincial Museum in 1958

This white porcelain jar with double-dragon handles is large in shape and unique in design, with its trumpet-shaped neck decorated with two circles of raised string pattern. As an unborn object before the Tang Dynasty, it was made by assimilating features of exotic bottles based on the Chinese chicken-spout ewers, showing the results of cultural exchanges between China and the West.
