Grey Pottery Male Figure

Yuan Dynasty

29 centimeters high

Unearthed from the Eastern Suburbs of Xi'an City in 1980

The pottery figure wears a helmet-shaped hat, a narrow-sleeved robe, a waistband, and a lock of hair at the front of the forehead, which is a typical daily dress of ordinary Mongolian men in the Yuan Dynasty.
